Ever since I don’t know when (it has been years actually), I have found interest in watching Anime. Until now, I am still watching them during my spare time. They’re actually fun to watch, especially series from the following genres – supernatural/fantasy, comedy, among others. One of my favorites is Hunter X Hunter. Serving as a form of entertainment, they allow me to imagine an interesting world or even ponder about life. There are shows that are seemingly nonsensical in nature, but even then, still impart values. Even those that revolve around fighting/action oftentimes have lessons to teach us. Just like in Naruto and Bleach, where you can learn about true friendship and about protecting what’s important; in Full Metal Alchemist, the courage to live and rise from our faults; in Yakitatte Japan and Cooking Master Boy, the will and determination to reach for your dreams. Some of them show possible real life situations that we might be experiencing. Some of them, I believe, we can relate to.

I can’t remember how many series I have watched. From them, I have gained insights about a lot of things. If you just watch closely, you’ll realize that even if those are animals or aliens you are watching, it is reflective of the life we live in. Words uttered by some of the characters show depth and truth, quotations where we can find lessons and hope.
