Manny Pacquiao and Oscar de la Hoya
It was the much awaited fight between two giants in boxing. I wasn’t planning to watch it at first, but since everyone at home wanted to watch, my bro and I set up a PC for watching through live streaming. Honestly, I really wanted de la Hoya to win, or rather, for Pacquiao to lose, not because I hate him, but because of the people around him – those hungry politicians who keep showing on screen to “support” him. We all know they are just in it for the pot money (moolah they will win through betting). However, when the boxers were already being shown on screen, I coudn’t resist rooting for Pacquiao, because of his seemingly-sad-or-down-or-poor-demeanor-causing-people-who-look-at-him-pity-him look (in a good way, just like a puppy, doing that puppy-look, with ears on the side, tilted head just like in Bolt). Either way, during the course of the fight, he really dominated de la Hoya, and I was kinda expecting that he’ll win the bout.
