Nothing turns me off more than political ads, except perhaps the commercials of Manny Pacquiao and Aling Dionisia. *tries her best to not vomit* But unfortunately (and I also heard this from the radio), there is nothing in our law that covers these ads until these government officials file their certificates of candidacy. It's just frustrating, because technically they're not saying "Vote for <insert name here>" or something of that sort. But the fact that they're on every TV and radio station makes things too obvious. :|

As for the critical power problem, I think that is one reason for the COMELEC to not completely rely on electronic means of voting. I'm all for automation, but as this is the first year that the system will be implemented there's bound to be a glitch somewhere even without a power outage of sorts. It's good to have a backup.

I'm currently leaning toward the Aquino-Roxas tandem, if only because I believe that Noynoy has the conscience to follow his parents' footsteps and not steal from the people. Many say that he hasn't done much and that his only merit is being "incorruptible", but that's way better than those who think they've done a lot while stealing money that's meant for the Filipino people.
