Today, 40 years ago, at 10:30pm, the first ever message sent through ARPANET was made. – October 29, 2009

The image on the left is an excerpt of the IMP (Internet Message Protocol) log at UCLA. It describes “setting up a message transmission to go from the UCLA SDS Sigma 7 Host computer to the SRI SDS 940 Host computer.”
