Wish there were times when you can “dislike” a post, because the remarks made are too derogatory, or are plain evil?

A lot of people have been petitioning to have a feature for this on Facebook. I tried searching “facebook dislike” using the built-in search and found that there are 3 groups with a total of around 2.2 million members.

If you really want this feature, then wait no further. Here’s a solution to your liking to have a dislike button in Facebook. You just have to install an experimental Firefox extension called Facebook Dislike. After you install it, you can already see a “dislike” link under the post, whether it be a status or a link, or even a video.

The Catch: Other people can only see your dislike, IF they have the extension installed as well.

There are times when this would be particularly useful when promoting a friendly environment – to  show a strong dislike to those who continue to disrupt peace in the online social network called Facebook. However, it cannot be denied that this can be abused. This is maybe why Facebook hasn’t included this feature – to promote a positive reinforcement to relationships.
