Spectives: Follow your Favorites Differently

Spectives: Follow your Favorites Differently

Have a lots of sites to follow? Tired of using Feed readers?

Then this tool can change how you follow your favorite sites, in a manner you may not have thought of before – using images with captions to summarize the recent entries of the sites you are following. Spectives allows you to have your own customized internet reading space with tabs, collections, just like having a newspaper with various news (site entries) on many pages (tabs).

You don’t need to sign up for an account to use this tool. You can scour through the existing collections and numerous tags to start surfing and reading. But if you start to feel the need to make your own custom selections and your preferences saved, it would be best to sign up for an account.

If you happen not to like how it’s organized, you can also get them as RSS feeds.

How it Works

Basically, Spectives captures the images on the posts on the sites you follow. These are organized in a collection, just like in the image above. Once a site updates, the images are automatically updated as well. View the video by the Spectives Team below, courtesy of Vimeo.
