Play God with Windows 7 Easter Egg

Windows 7 God Mode

Windows 7 users, here’s a way for you to control everything in one place, and I mean everything! I recently discovered this on ElegantCode.

So how does it work?

Simply create a folder on your Desktop and rename it to:

GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

Presto! You’re all set.

Here’s a snapshot of what you can tweak using this neat trick:

  • Administrative Tools
  • Backup and Restore
  • Date and Time
  • Keyboard
  • Internet Options
  • Mouse
  • Network
  • Programs and Features
  • Remote Desktop
  • Troubleshooting
  • User Accounts
  • Windows Firewall
  • … and a lot more

So be sure to check this out. Have fun!

  1. This looks pretty savvy. I wish I had the opportunity to get my hands on Win7. I haven't seen you for a while. What's up?

Yep, it is. I’ve tried it and it’s cool. Yeah, haven’t been here for a while there. Been busy with work and some stuff over the holidays. How are you?
